And it happened one evening, David arose from his bed and walked on the roof of the king's house. And from the roof he saw a woman bathing. And the woman was very beautiful to look upon.


I made a covenant with my eyes; how then could I look upon a virgin?


If my heart has been enticed by a woman, or I have laid wait at my neighbor's door,


I have seen an end to all perfection; Your Commandment is exceedingly broad.

Do not lust after her beauty in your heart; nor let her take you with her eyelids.
