He shall not strive, nor cry, nor shall any one hear His voice in the streets.


For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the huge fish, so the Son of Man shall be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.


From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.


saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while He was living, After three days I will rise again.


And Jesus said to him, See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest. And offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.


And He strictly warned them that no one should know this. And He said to give her something to eat.


And He commanded them, that they should tell no one. But the more He commanded them, so much the more they proclaimed it.


And they kept that saying within themselves, debating with one another what the rising from the dead is.


And suddenly, looking around, they did not see anyone any more, except Jesus alone with themselves.


And He said to them, So it is written, and so it behoved Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,


And when the voice occurred, Jesus was found alone. And they were silent, and told no one in those days anything which they had seen.
