They spend their days in good, and in a moment go down to the grave.


The wicked is driven away in his wickedness, but the righteous has hope in his death.


And so I saw the wicked buried, and they came and went from the holy place. And they were forgotten in the city, these things that they had done. This is also vanity.


All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.


What is to you here? And who is here to you, that you have carved out a tomb for yourself here, as one who cuts himself out a tomb on high, who cuts out a home for himself in a rock?


Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I say to you that in Heaven their angels always behold the face of My Father in Heaven.


And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.


And I say to you that many shall come from the east and the west, and shall sit down with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of Heaven.


For what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?


But God said to him, Fool! This night your soul shall be required of you, then whose shall be those things which you have prepared?


and desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table. But even the dogs came and licked his sores.

He Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that dying to sins, we might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.


And I heard a voice from Heaven saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they shall rest from their labors, and their works follow them.
