A Song of degrees. To You I lift up my eyes, O Dweller in Heaven.


Like a twittering swallow, so I chatter; I mourn as a dove; my eyes look weakly to the heights. O Jehovah, I am pressed down; be surety for me.


And He came the third time and said to them, Sleep on now and take your rest. It is enough, the hour has come. Behold, the Son of Man has been betrayed into the hands of sinners.


And standing afar off, the tax-collector would not even lift up his eyes to Heaven, but struck on his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner!


When I was with you in the temple daily, you did not stretch out your hand on Me. But this is your hour, and the authority of the darkness.
