And to man He said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom! And to depart from evil is understanding!


Whoever is wise, and will observe these things, they shall understand the mercies of Jehovah.


For my brothers and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within you.


For Jehovah takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the meek with salvation.


The meek He will guide in judgment; and the meek He will teach His way.


And ride prosperously in Your majesty, because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and Your right hand shall teach You fearful things.


Who is as the wise? And who knows the meaning of a thing? A man's wisdom makes his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed.


Whoever keeps the command shall feel no evil thing; and a wise man's heart knows both time and judgment.


And the meek shall increase joy in Jehovah, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.


A host of camels shall cover you, the camels of Midian and Ephah. All of them from Sheba shall come; they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall proclaim the praises of Jehovah.


The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is on Me; because Jehovah has anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;


Who is the wise man who may understand this? And who is he to whom the mouth of Jehovah has spoken, that he may declare it? Why does the land perish and burn up like a wilderness, so that none passes through?


So says Jehovah, Do not let the wise glory in his wisdom, nor let the mighty glory in his might; do not let the rich glory in his riches;


And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.


Seek Jehovah, all the meek of the earth who have done His justice; seek righteousness; seek meekness. It may be you shall be hidden in the day of Jehovah's anger.


(Now the man Moses was very meek, more than all the men on the face of the earth.)


Take My yoke on you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest to your souls.


"Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold, your King comes to you, meek, and sitting on an ass, even a colt the foal of an ass."


Blessed are the meek! For they shall inherit the earth.

Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender feelings of mercy, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long-suffering,


Let no one despise your youth, but be an example of the believers, in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.


But you, O man of God, flee these things and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness.


in meekness instructing those who oppose, if perhaps God will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth,


to speak evil of no one, not being quarrelsome, but forbearing, showing all meekness to all men.


Let your way of life be without the love of money, and be content with such things as you have, for He has said, "Not at all will I leave you, not at all will I forsake you, never!"


Therefore putting aside all filthiness and overflowing of evil, receive in meekness the implanted Word, which is able to save your souls.


But someone will say, You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith from my works.


My brothers, do not be many teachers, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.


But the wisdom that is from above is first truly pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.


but according to the Holy One who has called you, you also become holy in all conduct,


having your conduct honest among the nations, in that which they speak against you as evildoers, they may glorify God in a day of His visitation, seeing your good works.


But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for possession, so that you might speak of the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;


but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, the meek and quiet spirit, which is of great price in the sight of God.
