For this city has been to Me as a cause of My anger and of My fury from the day that they built it even to this day; that I should remove it from before My face;


because of all the evil of the sons of Israel and of the sons of Judah, which they have done to provoke Me to anger, they, their kings, their rulers, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.


You are guilty in your blood that you have shed; and you have defiled yourself in your idols you have made. And your days are brought near, and have come to your years. Therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations, and a mocking to all lands.


And I will make you a waste and a curse among the nations that are all around you, in the sight of all who pass by.


And he shall plant his palace tents between the seas in the glorious holy mountain. Yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.


And while I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin, and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my cry before Jehovah my God for the holy mountain of my God;


So you shall know that I am Jehovah your God dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain. And Jerusalem shall be a holy thing, and no aliens shall pass through her any more.


So says Jehovah: I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a City of Truth, and the mountain of Jehovah of Hosts, the Holy Mountain.


since it is a righteous thing with God to repay tribulation to those who trouble you,


If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.


Jehovah takes away, and He gives riches; He brings low; yea, He lifts up high.
