And going out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name. They forced this one to carry His cross.


And in the fifteenth year of the government of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Iturea and the Trachonitus country, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene


which they also did, sending to the elders by the hand of Barnabas and Saul.


And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem when they had fulfilled the ministry, having taken with them John, whose last name was Mark.


Then Saul (who is also Paul), filled with the Holy Spirit, set his eyes on him


And Judas and Silas, also being prophets themselves, exhorted the brothers with many words and confirmed them.


Also Paul and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the gospel, the Word of the Lord, with many others also.


And as Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.


And there were four virgin daughters to this one, who prophesied.


And Joses, who was surnamed Barnabas by the apostles (which is, being translated, The son of consolation), a Levite, a Cypriot by race,


And Saul, still breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest

Every man praying or prophesying with his head covered dishonors his Head.


And though I have prophecies, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so as to move mountains, and do not have charity, I am nothing.


Charity never fails. But if there are prophecies, they will be abolished; if tongues, they shall cease; if knowledge, it will be abolished.


And if there are two or three prophets, let them speak, and let the others judge.


And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

and knowing the grace given to me, James, and Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, gave right hands of fellowship to Barnabas and me, that we go to the nations, but they to the circumcision.


And truly He gave some to be apostles, and some to be prophets, and some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,


All the saints greet you, most of all those who are of Caesar's household.
