Let their anger be cursed, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel. I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.


in whose eyes the reprobate is despised, but he honors those who fear Jehovah; he has sworn to his hurt, and does not change it;


But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised by the people.


He is despised and rejected of men; a Man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as it were a hiding of faces from Him, He being despised, and we esteemed Him not.


Also the sons of your afflicters shall come bowing to you; and all your despisers will bow down at the soles of your feet. And they will call you, The city of Jehovah, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.


And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have come to the full, a king, fierce of face, and skilled at intrigues, shall stand up.


And brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. And the children shall rise up against their parents and cause them to be put to death.

The one hearing you hears Me, and he who despises you despises Me; he who rejects you also rejects Him who sent Me.

Do not deprive one another, unless it is with consent for a time, so that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer. And come together again so that Satan does not tempt you for your incontinence.


But if they do not have self-control, let them marry; for it is better to marry than to burn.


Therefore he who despises does not despise man, but God, who also has given us His Holy Spirit.


Even so their wives are to be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.

Let the aged women likewise be in reverent behavior, not slanderers, not enslaved by much wine, teachers of good;

These are murmurers, complainers, leading lives according to their lusts. And their mouth speaks proud things, admiring faces for the sake of gain.


because they told you that at the last time there will be mockers according to their lusts, leading ungodly lives.


And there was given to it to give a spirit to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might both speak, and might cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.


even that not any might buy or sell except those having the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of its name.


since they have poured out the blood of the saints and prophets; and You gave them blood to drink, for they were deserving.


And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with a great marveling.
