yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh's cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler.


And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.


And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:


And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: Thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: Thou hast delivered me from the violent man.


and I was with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut off all thine enemies out of thy sight, and have made thee a great name, like unto the name of the great men that are in the earth.


And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, that Evil-merodach king of Babylon in the year that he began to reign did lift up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison;


Is not the LORD your God with you? and hath he not given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his people.


And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare his works with rejoicing.


He shall drink of the brook in the way: Therefore shall he lift up the head.


Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, And teach me thy judgments.


Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: For great is the glory of the LORD.


The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; And in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!


Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: So will we sing and praise thy power.


But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; My glory, and the lifter up of mine head.


I cried unto the LORD with my voice, And he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.


O clap your hands, all ye people; Shout unto God with the voice of triumph.


Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.


Sing aloud unto God our strength: Make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.


O come, let us sing unto the LORD: Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.


Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.


For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.


the voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at first, saith the LORD.


Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.


By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.


ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.


And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
