For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.


Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, And utter words out of their heart?


With my lips have I declared All the judgments of thy mouth.


I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, And will not be ashamed.


Neither do they which go by say, the blessing of the LORD be upon you: We bless you in the name of the LORD.


The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, And his tongue talketh of judgment.


O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: And hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.


The lips of the righteous feed many: But fools die for want of wisdom.


The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: But the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.


The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: But the heart of the foolish doeth not so.


When thou goest, it shall lead thee; When thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; And when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.


The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: The father to the children shall make known thy truth.


Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
