Psalm 34:12

Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father.


If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.


O remember that my life is wind: mine eye shall no more see good.


He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.


There be many that say, Who will show us any good? Lord, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.


With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.


My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.


Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.


The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy is understanding.


Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.


I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was that good for the sons of men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life.


And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labor, it is the gift of God.


that thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.


that thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.


Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:
