All these things did Arau´nah, as a king, give unto the king. And Arau´nah said unto the king, The Lord thy God accept thee.


And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, besides that which she had brought unto the king. So she turned, and went away to her own land, she and her servants.


He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.


Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.


Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.


The desire of the righteous is only good: but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.


And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.


And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.


And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.


But his wife said unto him, If the Lord were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have showed us all these things, nor would as at this time have told us such things as these.


Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If the Lord have stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if they be the children of men, cursed be they before the Lord; for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the Lord, saying, Go, serve other gods.
