Now therefore, O Lord our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the Lord God, even thou only.


He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.


Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, that thou shouldest despise the work of thine hands, and shine upon the counsel of the wicked?


Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.


who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?


Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.


Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.


but made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.


So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will show forth thy praise to all generations.


For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.


and I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.


Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;


Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his Holy Spirit within him?


We are thine: thou never barest rule over them; they were not called by thy name.


And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.


But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting King: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.


For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.


And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.


For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.


For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.


But Jesh´urun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.


Do ye thus requite the Lord, O foolish people and unwise? Is not he thy father that hath bought thee? Hath he not made thee, and established thee?


Unto thee it was showed, that thou mightest know that the Lord he is God; there is none else beside him.


Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.


Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;


For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.


But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:


Wherefore, let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.


And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true; and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
