the angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.


And David answered Rechab and Ba´anah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beer´othite, and said unto them, As the Lord liveth, who hath redeemed my soul out of all adversity,


Then king Solomon sware by the Lord, saying, God do so to me, and more also, if Adoni´jah have not spoken this word against his own life.


Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.


He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.


Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.


For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.


Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.


So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.


The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.


The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.


The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.


Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.


Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue, keepeth his soul from troubles.


thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.


It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all.
