But the high places were not removed: nevertheless Asa's heart was perfect with the Lord all his days.


And he walked in all the ways of Asa his father; he turned not aside from it, doing that which was right in the eyes of the Lord: nevertheless the high places were not taken away; for the people offered and burnt incense yet in the high places.


And Jehosh´aphat made peace with the king of Israel.


Thou knowest how that David my father could not build a house unto the name of the Lord his God, for the wars which were about him on every side, until the Lord put them under the soles of his feet.


And Jeho´ash said to the priests, All the money of the dedicated things that is brought into the house of the Lord, even the money of every one that passeth the account, the money that every man is set at, and all the money that cometh into any man's heart to bring into the house of the Lord,


But the high places were not taken away out of Israel: nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect all his days.


Nevertheless the people did sacrifice still in the high places, yet unto the Lord their God only.


For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.


And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcasses upon the carcasses of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.


Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:


And they answered them, and said, He is; behold, he is before you: make haste now, for he came today to the city; for there is a sacrifice of the people today in the high place:
