And the earth shall be corrupted to the face of God; and the earth shall be filled with violence.


And Jehovah will see that great the evil of man in the earth, and every formation of the thoughts of his heart only evil all the days.


How much more abominable and corrupt is man drinking iniquity as water!


If I covered my transgression, as man, to hide mine iniquity in my bosom:


Then says Jesus to him, Retire, Satan; for it has been written, The Lord thy God shalt thou worship, and him alone shalt thou serve.


And he having answered, said, It has been written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word going forth through the mouth of God.
