But I say to you not to resist evil: but whosoever shall smite thee with a rod upon thy right cheek, turn to him also the other.


For we know that the law is spiritual: and I am fleshly, sold under sin.


When a man shall be found lying with the woman mistress of a husband, and they died, also they two, the man lying with the woman, and the woman: and thou didst put away evil from Israel.


Having eyes full of an adulteress, not ceasing from sin; decoying unstable souls: having a heart exercised with covetousness; children of a curse:


For every thing which in the world, the eager desire of the flesh, and the eager desire of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
