In the thirty and sixth year to the kingdom of Asa, Baasha king of Israel came up against Judah, and he will build Ramah, not to give him coming out and going in to Asa, king of Judah.


For he broke the brazen doors, and cut off the bars of iron.


God setting the only ones in the house, bringing forth the bound into prosperities, but those turning away dwelt in a dry land.


Thus said Jehovah, A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, weeping of bitterness; Rachel, weeping for her sons, refused to be comforted for her sons, for they are not


And the remainder of the people being left in the city, and those falling away which fell to him, and the remainder of the people being left, Nebuzaradan chief of the cooks, carried away captive to Babel.


And it will be from the end of ten days, and the word of Jehovah will be to Jeremiah.


And it will be in the twelfth year, in the tenth, in the fifth to the month, to our captivity, he having escaped from Jerusalem came to me, saying, The city was struck.


And Paul answered, What do ye weeping and breaking my heart? for I not only to be bound, but to die at Jerusalem, have prepared for the name of the Lord Jesus.


For this cause therefore I besought to see you, and to speak: for, for the hope of Israel am I surrounded by this chain.


For which I am an ambassador in perplexity: that in it I might speak freely, as I ought to speak.


And his turning back to Ramah; for there his house; and there he judged Israel; and he will build an altar there to Jehovah.
