Hear, O daughter, and see, and incline thine ear, and forget thy people and thy father's house;


A woman of strength is a crown to her husband: and she causing shame, as rottenness in his bones.


Forsaking the friend of her youth, and forgetting the covenant of her God.


Who shall find a woman of virtue? for her price is far above pearls.


Who, having been present, and seen the grace of God, rejoiced, and besought them all, with purpose of heart, to remain to the Lord.


For a married woman is bound by the law to a living husband; and if the husband die, she is left inactive from the law of the husband.


Jehovah thy God shalt thou fear; him .shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and in his name shalt thou swear.
