And they come to Jesus, and they see him possessed with the demon, sitting down, and being clothed, and of sound mind: and they were afraid.


For he proclaimed to the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For many times it snatched him: and he was bound with chains, and being guarded with fetters; and bursting the bonds, he was driven by the demon into the deserts.


And they went out to see that done; and came to Jesus, and they found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting clothed, and being of sound mind, at the feet of Jesus; and they were afraid.


And the evil spirit having answered, said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?


And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell upon them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.


And springing forth he stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and springing, and praising God.


Promising them liberty, they being servants of corruption: for by whom any is conquered, by him has he been made to serve.
