⁹ The people will bring gifts, grain offerings, sin offerings, and guilt offerings. These offerings are most holy. Your share in the most holy offerings will come from the parts that are not burned. All these things will be for you and your sons.

I have given this part of the grain offering as the priests’ share of the gifts offered to me. Like the sin offering and the guilt offering, it is most holy. It must not be baked with yeast.

The guilt offering is like the sin offering. The same rules are for both offerings. The priest who does the sacrificing will get the meat for food.

Numbers 18:10

Eat these things only in a very holy place. Every male in your family may eat them, but you must remember that these offerings are holy.

“The tribe of Levi will not get any share of land in Israel. The priests come from that tribe and they will eat the special sacrifices that are offered as gifts to the Lord. That is the share for the people from the tribe of Levi.
