Rescue me from the lion’s mouth. Protect me from the horns of the bulls.


Jerusalem’s leaders are like roaring lions. Her judges are like hungry wolves that come in the evening to attack the sheep—and in the morning nothing is left.


“Listen! I am sending you, and you will be like sheep among wolves. So be smart like snakes. But also be like doves and don’t hurt anyone.


Everyone will hate you because you follow me. But the one who remains faithful to the end will be saved.
