My soul, don't come into their council. My glory, don't be united to their assembly; for in their anger they killed men. In their self-will they hamstrung oxen.

as the days in which the Jews had rest from their enemies, and the month which was turned to them from sorrow to gladness, and from mourning into a good day; that they should make them days of feasting and gladness, and of sending presents of food to one another, and gifts to the needy.


I will sing to the LORD, because he has been good to me.


Every day I will praise you. I will extol your name forever and ever.


Therefore my heart is glad, and my tongue rejoices. My body shall also dwell in safety.


In God we have made our boast all day long, we will give thanks to your name forever. Selah.


Wake up, my glory! Wake up, psaltery and harp! I will wake up the dawn.
