It may be that the LORD will look on the wrong done to me, and that the LORD will requite me good for [his] cursing of me this day.


He sings before men, and says, 'I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it didn't profit me.


For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish.


But you do see trouble and grief. You consider it to take it into your hand. You help the victim and the fatherless.


You have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy. You have set my feet in a large place.


Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.


Now there arose a new king over Egypt, who didn't know Yosef.


Moshe told his father-in-law all that the LORD had done to Par`oh and to the Egyptians for Yisra'el's sake, all the hardships that had come on them on the way, and how the LORD delivered them.


Now, behold, the cry of the children of Yisra'el has come to me. Moreover I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.


The people believed, and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Yisra'el, and that he had seen their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshiped.


Then I will tell them, 'I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.'


*Thus has the Lord done to me in the days in which he looked at me, to take away my reproach among men.*


I have surely seen the affliction of my people that is in Egypt, and have heard their groaning. I have come down to deliver them. Now come, I will send you into Egypt.'


and we cried to the LORD, the God of our fathers, and the LORD heard our voice, and saw our affliction, and our toil, and our oppression;


She vowed a vow, and said, the LORD of Armies, if you will indeed look on the affliction of your handmaid, and remember me, and not forget your handmaid, but will give to your handmaid a boy, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come on his head.
