Chanokh walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.


It will happen, as soon as I am gone from you, that the Spirit of the LORD will carry you I don't know where; and so when I come and tell Ach'av, and he can't find you, he will kill me: but I your servant fear the LORD from my youth.


He said, Go forth, and stand on the mountain before the LORD. Behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains, and broke in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:


But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die, and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.


Now the rest of the acts of Achazyah which he did, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Yisra'el?


It happened, as they still went on, and talked, that behold, [there appeared] a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, which parted them both apart; and Eliyahu went up by a whirlwind into heaven.


Elisha came again to Gilgal. There was a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him; and he said to his servant, Set on the great pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.


Then the LORD answered Iyov out of the whirlwind,


It came to pass, when the days were near that he should be taken up, he intently set his face to go to Yerushalayim,


When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.


By faith, Chanokh was taken away, so that he wouldn't see death, and he was not found, because God translated him. For he has had testimony given to him that before his translation he had been well pleasing to God.


The people came up out of the Yarden on the tenth day of the first month, and encamped in Gilgal, on the east border of Yericho.


The LORD said to Yehoshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Therefore the name of that place was called Gilgal, to this day.


I heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, *Come up here!* They went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies saw them.
