They traveled, and a terror of God was on the cities that were around them, and they didn't pursue the sons of Ya`akov.


It shall be, when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then you shall bestir yourself; for then is the LORD gone out before you to strike the army of the Pelishtim.


Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall chase him at his heels.


There they were in great fear, for God is in the generation of the righteous.


Mount Sinai, the whole of it, smoked, because the LORD descended on it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly.


Then the king's face was changed in him, and his thoughts troubled him; and the joints of his thighs were loosened, and his knees struck one against another.


You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren't troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet.


and she said to the men, I know that the LORD has given you the land, and that the fear of you is fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land melt away before you.

The spoilers came out of the camp of the Pelishtim in three companies: one company turned to the way that leads to Ofrat, to the land of Shual;


and another company turned the way to Beit-Choron; and another company turned the way of the border that looks down on the valley of Tzevo`im toward the wilderness.


The garrison of the Pelishtim went out to the pass of Mikhmash.


That first slaughter, which Yonatan and his armor bearer made, was about twenty men, within as it were half a furrow's length in an acre of land.


The watchmen of Sha'ul in Gevah of Binyamin looked; and behold, the multitude melted away, and they went [here] and there.


As Shemu'el was offering up the burnt offering, the Pelishtim drew near to battle against Yisra'el; but the LORD thundered with a great thunder on that day on the Pelishtim, and confused them; and they were struck down before Yisra'el.
