because David did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, and didn't turn aside from anything that he commanded him all the days of his life, except only in the matter of Uriyah the Chittite.


If you will walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my mitzvot, as your father David did walk, then I will lengthen your days.


Shlomo loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.


The LORD was with Yehoshafat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and didn't seek the Ba`alim,


Achaz was twenty years old when he began to reign; and he reigned sixteen years in Yerushalayim: and he didn't do that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, like David his father;
