I am a friend of all who serve you, of all who obey your laws.


They despise those whom God rejects, but honor those who obey the Lord. They always do what they promise, no matter how much it may cost.


The Lord watches over the righteous and listens to their cries;


People stay in hiding when the wicked come to power. But when they fall from power, the righteous will rule again.


Show me a righteous ruler and I will show you a happy people. Show me a wicked ruler and I will show you a miserable people.


Then other stones are to be used to replace the stones that were removed, and new plaster will be used to cover the walls.


“Who, then, is a faithful and wise servant? It is the one that his master has placed in charge of the other servants to give them their food at the proper time.


Whoever wants to serve me must follow me, so that my servant will be with me where I am. And my Father will honor anyone who serves me.


And after I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to myself, so that you will be where I am.


“Father! You have given them to me, and I want them to be with me where I am, so that they may see my glory, the glory you gave me; for you loved me before the world was made.


I heard a loud voice speaking from the throne: “Now God's home is with people! He will live with them, and they shall be his people. God himself will be with them, and he will be their God.
