13 For I have bent Judah as my bow; I have made Ephraim its arrow. I will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece, and wield you like a warrior’s sword.

Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle;


Let the high praises of God be in their throats and two-edged swords in their hands,


Gird your sword on your thigh, O mighty one, in your splendor and majesty!


He made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me a polished arrow; in his quiver he hid me away.


“You are my hammer and weapon of war: with you I break nations in pieces; with you I destroy kingdoms;


The precious sons of Zion, worth their weight in fine gold, how they are regarded as earthen pots, the work of a potter’s hands!


And I raised up some of your sons for prophets, and some of your young men for Nazirites. Is it not indeed so, O people of Israel?” declares the Lord.


Saviors shall go up to Mount Zion to rule Mount Esau, and the kingdom shall be the Lord’s.


And I said, “What are these coming to do?” He said, “These are the horns that scattered Judah, so that no one raised his head. And these have come to terrify them, to cast down the horns of the nations who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter it.”


and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,


I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.


For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.


In his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength.


They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.”
