You visit the earth and water it; you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it.


And the people believed; and when they heard that the Lord had visited the people of Israel and that he had seen their affliction, they bowed their heads and worshiped.


And this city shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth who shall hear of all the good that I do for them. They shall fear and tremble because of all the good and all the prosperity I provide for it.


so that the crowd wondered, when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled healthy, the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they glorified the God of Israel.


And the crowds said, “This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee.”


So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.


When the crowds saw it, they were afraid, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to men.


And fear came on all their neighbors. And all these things were talked about through all the hill country of Judea,


“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people


and tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And they will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”


And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.


And he said to them, “What things?” And they said to him, “Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, a man who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,


And amazement seized them all, and they glorified God and were filled with awe, saying, “We have seen extraordinary things today.”


But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord.”


And the dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother.


Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would have known who and what sort of woman this is who is touching him, for she is a sinner.”


Then all the people of the surrounding country of the Gerasenes asked him to depart from them, for they were seized with great fear. So he got into the boat and returned.


And they answered, “John the Baptist. But others say, Elijah, and others, that one of the prophets of old has risen.”


And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.”


They asked him, “Then why are you baptizing, if you are neither the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”


The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.


When the people saw the sign that he had done, they said, “This is indeed the Prophet who is to come into the world!”


So they said again to the blind man, “What do you say about him, since he has opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.”


When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and breathed his last. And great fear came upon all who heard of it.


This is the Moses who said to the Israelites, ‘God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers.’


And they glorified God because of me.


“The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers—it is to him you shall listen—
