14 “They will put the crown in the temple. This will be a reminder for Heldai, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and Zephaniah’s son, Josiah It will help them remember \{that the king’s power comes from God\}.

{From the temple,} Nebuzaradan took


“So you will always remember tonight—it will be a special holiday for you. Your descendants [67] will honor the Lord with this holiday forever.


Then put these two jewels on the shoulder pieces of the Ephod. Aaron will wear this special coat when he stands before the Lord. And the two stones with the names of the sons of Israel will be on the Ephod. These jewels will cause God to remember the people of Israel.


“When Aaron enters the Holy Place, [252] he must wear the Judgment Pouch. [253] In this way he will wear the names of the twelve sons of Israel over his heart. And the Lord will always be reminded of them.


“Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah have come from the captives {\cf2\super [17]} in Babylon. Get silver and gold from those men and then go to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah.


Use that silver and gold to make a crown. Put that crown on Joshua’s head. (Joshua was the high priest. He was the son of Jehozadak.) Then tell Joshua these things:


He did this the way the Lord commanded him through Moses. This was a sign to help the people of Israel remember that only a person from the family of Aaron should burn incense [215] before the Lord. Any other person who burns incense before the Lord will die like Korah and his followers.


Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold from the leaders of 1,000 men and the leaders of 100 men. Then they put that gold in the Meeting Tent. [369] This present was a memorial [370] before the Lord for the people of Israel.


I tell you the truth. The Good News {\cf2\super [398]} will be told to people in all the world. And in every place where the Good News is told, the story of what this woman did will also be told. And people will remember her.”
