If someone does wrong to you, don’t pay him back by doing wrong to him. Try to do the things that all people think are good.


Don’t allow something that you think is good to become something that other people say is evil.


We are trying to do what is right. We want to do what the Lord accepts as right and also what people think is right.


And stay away from everything that is evil.


People who don’t believe are living all around you. Those people may say that you are doing wrong. So live good lives. Then they will see the good things you do, and they will give glory to God on that day when he comes.


Then Boaz said, “Bring me your coat. Now, hold it open.”
