The Good News shows how God makes people right with himself. God’s way of making people right begins and ends with faith. Like the Scripture {\cf2\super [11]} says, “The person that is right with God by faith will live forever.” {\cf2\super [12]}

That Scripture says “any person” because there is no difference between Jew and non-Jew. The same Lord is the Lord of all people. The Lord gives many blessings to all people that trust in him.

Christ ended the law so that every person that believes in him is made right with God.

So do you think that you can judge those other people? You are wrong. You too are guilty of sin. You judge those people, but you do the same bad things they do. So when you judge them, you are really judging yourself guilty.

So people get God’s promise by having faith. This happens so that the promise can be a free gift. And if the promise is a free gift, then all of Abraham’s {\cf2\super [42]} people can have that promise. The promise is not only for those people that live under the law \{of Moses\}. The promise is for any person that lives with faith like Abraham. Abraham is the father of us all.

So now people that are in Christ Jesus are not judged guilty.

So what does all this mean? It means this: That the non-Jews were not trying to make themselves right with God. But they were made right with God. They became right because of their faith.

Some of us are Jews and some of us are Greeks (non-Jews); some of us are slaves and some of us are free. But we were all baptized {\cf2\super [86]} into one body through one Spirit. {\cf2\super [87]} And we were all given {\cf2\super [88]} the one Spirit.

Who says that you are better than other people? Everything you have was given to you. So, if everything you have was given to you, then why do you boast like you got those things by your own power?

We know that a person is not made right with God by following the law. {\cf2\super [18]} No! It is trusting in Jesus Christ that makes a person right with God. And we are right with God because we trusted in Christ—not because we followed the law. \{This is true\} because no person can be made right with God by following the law.

So the life that I live now is not really me—it is Christ living in me. I still live in my body, but I live by faith in the Son of God (Jesus). Jesus is the One who loved me. He gave himself to save me.

But this is not true, because the Scriptures {\cf2\super [42]} showed that all people are bound by sin. Why did the Scriptures do this? So that the promise would be given to people through faith. The promise is given to people who believe in Jesus Christ.

In Christ we can come before God with freedom and without fear. We can do this through faith in Christ.

There is no difference between people that are circumcised {\cf2\super [16]} and people that are not circumcised, or people that are from some foreign country, or Scythians. {\cf2\super [17]} There is no difference between slaves and free people. But Christ is in all those believers. And Christ is all that is important.

This shows the full meaning of the Scripture {\cf2\super [13]} that says: “Abraham believed God. And God accepted Abraham’s faith. That faith made Abraham right with God.” {\cf2\super [14]} Abraham was called “God’s friend.” {\cf2\super [15]}
