The Lord had caused the Aramean army to hear the sound of chariots, [80] horses, and a large army. So the Aramean soldiers said to each other, “The king of Israel has hired the kings of the Hittites and Egyptians to come against us!”


God All-Powerful’s arrows are in me.\par My spirit feels the poison\par from those arrows!\par God’s terrible weapons are lined up\par against me.\par


He will not be afraid of bad news.\par That person is confident\par because he trusts the Lord.\par


So we are not afraid when the\par earth quakes,\par and the mountains fall into the sea.\par


Evil people are afraid of everything. But a good person is as brave as a lion.


I am worried and I am shaking from fear. My pleasant evening has become a night of fear.\par


When you have troubles, I am with you. When you cross rivers, you will not be hurt. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not hurt you.


Jesus answered, “Why are you afraid? You don’t have enough faith.” Then Jesus stood and gave a command to the wind and the waves. The wind stopped, and the lake became very calm.


But God said to that man, ‘Foolish man! Tonight you will die. So what about the things you prepared for yourself? Who will get those things now?’


Remember this: If the owner of the house knew what time a thief was coming, then the owner would not allow the thief to enter his house.
