The king went out with all of his people following him. They stopped at the last house.


“Job, God wants to help you.\par God wants to get you out of trouble.\par God wants to make life easy for you.\par God wants to put plenty of food\par on your table.\par


He will save you from six troubles.\par Yes, might endure seven disasters\par and not be hurt!\par


God saves those people from death.\par He gives them strength\par when they are hungry.\par


I will now use my anger to punish the people that hurt you. Those people tried to kill you. They told you, ‘Bow down before us, and we will walk on you!’ They forced you to bow down before them. And then they walked on your back like dirt. You were like a road for them to walk on.”


Then Nebuchadnezzar went to the opening of the hot furnace. He shouted, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, come out! Servants of the Most High God, come here!”

We say that those people who accepted their troubles with patience are now happy. You have heard about Job’s patience. {\cf2\super [28]} You know that after all Job’s trouble, the Lord helped him. This shows that the Lord is full of mercy and is kind.
