Solomon prepared the room deep inside the back part of the temple. This room was for the Lord’s Box of the Agreement. [43]


Then Solomon built a row of rooms around the main part of the temple. These rooms were built on top of each other. {This row of rooms was three stories tall.}


When any of these things happen, if even one man is sorry {for his sins} and spreads his hands in prayer toward this temple,


Solomon had made a bronze platform {\cf2\super [97]} 5 cubits {\cf2\super [98]} long, 5 cubits {\cf2\super [99]} wide and 3 cubits {\cf2\super [100]} and placed it in the middle of the outside yard. {\cf2\super [101]} Then he stood on the platform and kneeled in front of all the people of Israel who were gathered together. Solomon spread his hands out toward the sky.


Evil people do crooked things.\par The Lord will punish those evil people.\par


My Master, listen to me.\par Listen to my call for help.\par

Daniel always prayed to God three times every day. Three times every day, Daniel got down on his knees and prayed and praised God. When Daniel heard about the new law he went to his house. I want men everywhere to pray. These men who lift up their hands in prayer must be pleasing to God. They must not be men who become angry and have arguments.
