Psalm 28:1

God saved my soul from going down\par to the place of death.\par Now I can enjoy life again.’\par


I will call to the Lord for help.\par I will pray to the Lord.\par


I will tell the Lord about my problems.\par I will tell the Lord about my troubles.\par


Hurry, answer me Lord!\par I have lost my courage.\par Don’t turn away from me.\par Don’t let me die and become like\par the dead people lying in the grave.\par


The Lord is my Rock, {\cf2\super [97]} \par my Fortress, {\cf2\super [98]} \par my Place of Safety.”\par My God is my Rock.\par I run to him for protection.\par God is my shield.\par His power saves me. {\cf2\super [99]} \par The Lord is my hiding place\par high in the hills.\par


My God, I called to you during the day.\par But you did not answer me.\par And I continued calling you in the night.\par

I lift my voice to God and cry \{for help\}.\par I lift my voice to you God, listen to me!\par


God, don’t keep quiet!\par Don’t close your ears!\par Please say something, God.\par


We will kill that person. We will send that person to the place of death. We will destroy that person and send him to the grave.


So, trust the Lord always.\par Why? Because in the Lord YAH, {\cf2\super [240]} you have a place of safety forever!\par


Dead people don’t sing praises to you.\par People in Sheol {\cf2\super [368]} don’t praise you.\par Dead people don’t trust you to help them.\par They go into a hole in the ground,\par \{and never speak again\}.\par


The angel threw the snake into the bottomless pit and closed it. The angel locked it over the snake. The angel did this so that the snake could not trick the people of the earth until the 1,000 years were ended. After 1,000 years the snake must be made free for a short time.
