Wild birds come to live by the pools,\par They sing in the branches of nearby trees.\par


King, you live high on the mountain\par in your house made from cedar wood.\par It is almost like you live in Lebanon\par where that wood came from.\par \{You think you are safe,\par high on the mountain in your big house.\}\par But you will really groan\par when your punishment comes.\par You will hurt like a woman\par giving birth to a baby.”\par


Even the birds in the sky\par know the right time to do things.\par The storks, doves, swifts, and thrushes\par know when it is time to fly to a new home.\par But my people don’t know what the Lord wants them to do.\par


All the birds of the sky made their nests\par in the branches of that tree.\par And all the animals of the field gave birth\par under the branches of that tree.\par All the great nations lived\par under the shade of that tree.\par

That seed is one of the smallest of all seeds. But when the seed grows, it is one of the largest garden plants. It becomes a tree, big enough for the birds to come and make nests in its branches.”
