God, you are truly good.\par I trust you,\par so protect me.\par


Lord, judge me.\par Prove that I have lived a pure life.\par I never stopped trusting the Lord.\par


If a good person is honest, then his life will be easy. But an evil person is destroyed by the bad things he does.


Goodness protects a good, honest person. But evil defeats the person that loves to sin.


A person’s own foolishness will ruin his life. But he will blame the Lord.


But evil people will lose their land. People who lie and cheat will be taken away from the land.


The bad things that evil people do will destroy them. Those people refuse to do what is right.


The Lord watches over and protects people who know him. But he destroys people who turn against him.


If a person is living right, then he will be safe. But if a person is evil, then he will lose his power.


But all criminals and sinners will be destroyed. (They are the people that don’t follow the Lord.)


Among the people that they killed were Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba—the five kings of Midian. They also killed Balaam son of Beor with a sword.


If a person wants to do what God wants, then that person will know that my teaching comes from God. That person will know that this teaching is not my own.
