30 But we defeated those Amorites. We destroyed their towns from Heshbon to Dibon, from Nashim to Nophah, near Medeba.

The Lord shot his arrows {\cf2\super [102]} \par and scattered the enemy.\par The Lord sent many bolts of lightning\par and the people scattered in confusion.\par


The king’s family and the people\par of Dibon {\cf2\super [158]} \par are going to the places of worship {\cf2\super [159]} to cry.\par The people of Moab are crying\par for Nebo {\cf2\super [160]} and Medeba. {\cf2\super [161]} \par The people shaved their heads and beards\par \{to show they are sad\}.\par


The water of Dimon {\cf2\super [164]} is full of blood.\par And I (the Lord) will bring\par even more troubles to Dimon.\par A few people living in Moab\par have escaped the enemy.\par But I will send lions to eat those people.\par


“You people living in Dibon, {\cf2\super [384]} \par come down from your place of honor.\par Sit on the ground in the dust.\par Why? Because the Destroyer is coming.\par And he will destroy your strong cities.\par


Judgment has come to the towns of\par Dibon, Nebo, and Beth Diblathaim,\par


So the people of Israel made their camp in the land of the Amorite people.


The people of Gad built the cities of Dibon, Ataroth, Aroer,


The land continued to Heshbon. It included all the towns on the plain. Those towns were Dibon, Bamoth Baal, Beth Baal Meon,


Their land started at Aroer by the Arnon Ravine and continued to the town in the middle of the ravine. And it included the whole plain from Medeba to Dibon.
