But Jesus knew what happened. Jesus said, “Why are you troubling this woman? She did a very good thing for me.


While Jesus was saying these things, a leader of the synagogue {\cf2\super [113]} came to him. The leader bowed down before Jesus and said, “My daughter has just died. But come and touch her with your hand, and she will live again.”


A leader of the synagogue {\cf2\super [57]} came to that place. His name was Jairus. Jairus saw Jesus and bowed down before him.


Your friend inside the house answers, ‘Go away! Don’t bother me! The door is already locked. My children and I are in bed. I cannot get up and give you the bread now.’


So Jesus went with the men. Jesus was coming near the officer’s house when the officer sent friends to say, “Lord, you don’t need to do anything special for me. I am not good enough for you to come into my house.
