So David gathered all the people of Israel from the Shihor River in Egypt to the town of Lebo Hamath. They came together to bring the Box of the Agreement {\cf2\super [136]} back from the town of Kiriath Jearim.


David told all the people of Israel to meet together at Jerusalem \{while the Levites carried\} the Box of the Agreement {\cf2\super [153]} to the place he had made for it.


Many people came together at Jerusalem to celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread {\cf2\super [366]} in the second month. It was a very large crowd.


King Hezekiah agreed with all his officials and all the assembly in Jerusalem to have the Passover in the second month.


All the assembly of Judah, the priests, the Levites, all the assembly that came from Israel, and the travelers that came from Israel and moved to Judah—all those people were very happy.


Solomon commanded the elders of Israel and all the leaders of the family groups to meet together in Jerusalem. (These men were the leaders of the heads of the families of Israel.) Solomon did this so \{the Levites\} could bring the Box of the Lord’s Agreement {\cf2\super [76]} up \{to the temple\} from the City of David, that is, Zion.


King Solomon and all the people of Israel met in front of the Box of the Agreement. King Solomon and all the people of Israel sacrificed {\cf2\super [80]} sheep and bulls. There were so many sheep and bulls no person could count them.


So all the people of Israel met together in the seventh month {\cf2\super [42]} of the year. They were together and in agreement just as if they were one man. They all met together in the open place in front of the Water Gate. All those people asked Ezra the teacher to bring out the Book of the Law of Moses. That is the Law that the Lord had given to the people of Israel.


\{Lord,\} my praise in the great assembly comes from you.\par In front of all these worshipers,\par I will offer the sacrifices\par that I promised to give.\par


The priest must bring that person and his sacrifices before the Lord at the entrance of the Meeting Tent. [199] (This must be the same priest who announces that the person is clean. [200])


“Take Aaron and his sons with him and the clothes, the anointing oil, [82] the bull of the sin offering, the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread. [83]


Moses did what the Lord commanded him. The people met together at the entrance of the Meeting Tent.


“Get the {special} walking stick. Take your brother Aaron and the crowd of people and go to that rock. Speak to the rock in front of the people. Then water will flow from the rock. And you can give that water to the people and to their animals.”


The people of Israel left that place and traveled to Beer. [278] This was the place with the well. This was the place where the Lord said to Moses, “Bring the people together here and I will give them water.”


Bring the Levite people to the area in front of the Meeting Tent. [127] Then bring all the people of Israel together at that place.


When the day of Pentecost {\cf2\super [17]} came, they were all together in one place.
