The next morning, Jesus called his followers. He chose twelve of them. He named these men “apostles.” {\cf2\super [113]} They were:


But the followers did not understand what Jesus meant. The meaning was hidden from them so that they could not understand it. But the followers were afraid to ask Jesus about what he said.


These two men followed Jesus after they heard about Jesus from John. One of these two men was named Andrew. Andrew was Simon Peter’s brother.


Jesus and his followers were also invited to the wedding.


But Jesus answered, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.”
