But God knows me.\par He is testing me and he will see\par that I am as pure as gold.\par


Then Job’s three friends gave up trying to answer Job. They gave up because Job was so sure that he himself was truly innocent.


you would understand my sadness.\par My sadness would be heavier\par than all the sand of the seas!\par That is why my words seem foolish.\par


Why? Because the Lord\par protects good people,\par but destroys bad people.\par


Lord, look at me and know my heart.\par Test me and know my thoughts.\par


Lord, judge me.\par Prove that I have lived a pure life.\par I never stopped trusting the Lord.\par


The Lord wants all scales and balances to be honest. He wants all business agreements to be fair.


A person thinks everything he does is right. But the Lord judges the real reasons people do things.


Honesty is the way of living for good people.\par Good people follow the way\par that is straight and true.\par And God, you make that way smooth\par and easy to follow.\par


TEKEL: {\cf2\super [63]} \par You have been weighed on the scales,\par and found not good enough.\par


Should I pardon the bad people who still\par use weights and scales to cheat people?\par Should I pardon the people who still\par have bags with weights that give the wrong measure?\par \{No!\}\par


Then I will tell those people clearly, ‘Go away from me, you people that do wrong. I never knew you.’


But God’s strong foundation {\cf2\super [14]} continues to be the same. These words are written on that foundation: “The Lord knows those people who belong to him.” {\cf2\super [15]} Also, these words are written on that foundation: “Every person who says that he believes in the Lord must stop doing wrong.”


“The Lord is our God! Again we say that the Lord is our God! [72] And God knows why we did this thing. We want you to know also. You can judge what we did. If you believe that we have done something wrong, then you can kill us.


Don’t continue bragging! Don’t speak proud words! Why? Because the Lord God knows everything, God leads and judges people.
