Every noise scares him.\par His enemy will attack him\par when he thinks he is safe.\par


The light in his house will become dark.\par The lamp next to him will go out.\par


The bronze arrow will go\par all the way through his body,\par and stick out from his back.\par Its shining point will pierce his liver,\par and he will be shocked with terror.\par


The darkest night is like morning\par for those evil people.\par Yes, they know the terrors of that\par deadly darkness very well!\par


An evil man might build a house,\par but it will not last a long time.\par It will be like a spider’s web\par or a watchman’s tent.\par


Leviathan looks down\par on the proudest animals.\par He is king over all the wild animals.\par


That person has nothing to lean on.\par His security is like a spider’s web.\par


But shame will be the clothes\par your enemies wear.\par And the homes of wicked people\par will be destroyed.”\par


Wicked people see this and become angry.\par They will grind their teeth in anger,\par but then they disappear.\par Wicked people will not get\par what they want most.\par


My heart is pounding inside me.\par I am scared to death.\par


The things good people hope for bring happiness. The things bad people hope for bring ruin.


During times of trouble, evil people are defeated. But good people win a victory even during death.


Jesus became like those people and died so that he could free them. They were like slaves all their lives because of their fear of death.
