God could tell you the secret of wisdom.\par He would tell you that\par every story has two sides.\par Job, listen to me,\par God is not punishing you\par as much as he should.\par


But robbers’ tents are not bothered.\par People who make God angry live in peace,\par and their own strength\par is their only god!\par


Job, if you had your way,\par no person would respect God\par and pray to him.\par


No, it is because you have sinned much.\par Job, you never stop sinning!\par


Then Job’s three friends gave up trying to answer Job. They gave up because Job was so sure that he himself was truly innocent.


But there was a young man there named Elihu son of Barakel. Barakel was a descendant {\cf2\super [69]} of a man named Buz. Elihu was from the family of Ram. Elihu became very angry with Job. Why? Because Job was saying that he himself was right. Job was saying that he was more fair than God.


God stops the plans of clever, evil people,\par so they have no success.\par


God catches even wise people\par in their own traps.\par So those clever plans are not successful.\par


They have told many bad lies about me.\par Their tongues are like sharp swords,\par their bitter words like arrows.\par


The people of Judah have tongues\par that are like sharp arrows.\par Their mouths speak lies.\par Each person speaks nice to his neighbor.\par But he is secretly planning ways\par to attack his neighbor.\par


A good person has good things saved in his heart. And so he brings good things out of his heart. But an evil person has evil things saved in his heart. So he brings out bad things. A person speaks the things that are in his heart.


You might think you are religious (good). But if you say things you should not say, then you are fooling yourself. Your “religion” is worth nothing.
