People that don’t have troubles\par make fun of people who do have them.\par Those people hit a man when he is down.\par


“But ask the animals,\par they will teach you.\par Or ask the birds of the air,\par they will tell you.\par


You are against God\par when you say these angry words.\par


And it was God who filled their houses\par with good things!\par No, I can’t follow the advice of evil people.\par


Evil people might feel safe and secure\par for a short time.\par They might want to be powerful.\par


When an evil man takes control of a land,\par does God keep the leaders\par from seeing what is happening?\par If that is true,\par then who is God anyway?\par


Lord, use your power and remove\par bad people from the \{land of\} the living.\par


Don’t get upset at evil people.\par Don’t be jealous of people\par who do bad things.\par


I saw a wicked person that was powerful.\par He was like a strong, healthy tree.\par


I saw that wicked people were successful\par I became jealous of those proud people.\par


Wicked people live and die like weeds.\par And the worthless things they do\par will be destroyed forever.\par


Lord, if I argue with you,\par you are always right!\par But I want to ask you about some things that don’t seem right.\par Why are wicked people successful?\par Why do people you can’t trust have such easy lives?\par


The houses of these evil men are full of lies,\par like a cage full of birds.\par Their lies made them rich and powerful.\par


They have grown big and fat\par \{from the evil things they have done\}.\par There is no end to the evil things they do.\par They will not plead the case\par of children that have no parents.\par They will not help those orphans.\par They will not let poor people\par be judged fairly.\par


Then they will leave like the wind and go on to fight against other places. The only thing those Babylonians will worship is their own strength.”
