You know I am innocent,\par but no one can save me\par from your power!\par


Job, I wish God would answer you\par and tell you that you are wrong.\par


“But what does something clean\par have in common with something dirty?\par Nothing!\par


“Job, it is not fair for you to say,\par ‘I am more right than God.’\par


And if he does kill me,\par I will be comforted about one thing,\par I will be happy about one thing:\par Even through all this pain,\par I never refused to obey\par the commands of the Holy One.\par


God, you watch over people.\par If I have sinned, fine,\par what can I do?\par Why did you use me for target practice?\par Did I become a problem for you?\par


Why? Because the things I teach you are important and good. So don’t ever forget my teachings.


But you should keep the Lord Christ holy in your hearts. Always be ready to answer every person who asks you to explain about the hope you have.
