People in the west will be shocked\par when they hear what happened\par to the evil person.\par People in the east will be numb with fear.\par


People are all around me.\par They are like powerful bulls that surrounded me.\par


But our Master laughs\par at those evil people.\par He sees what will happen to them.\par


The guard answered,\par “Morning is coming,\par But then night will come again.\par If you have something to ask,\par then come back {\cf2\super [209]} and ask.”\par


Why? Because the Lord decided there should be a time for killing in Bozrah {\cf2\super [317]} and in Edom.


So the rams, the cattle, and the strong bulls will be killed. The land will be filled with their blood. The dirt will be covered with their fat.


But you know my heart, Lord.\par You see me and test my mind.\par Drag those evil people away\par like sheep to be butchered.\par Choose them for the day of slaughter.\par


Shepherds (leaders), you should be leading\par the sheep (people).\par Start crying you great leaders!\par Roll around on the ground in pain,\par you leaders of the sheep (people).\par Why? “Babylon, you are excited and happy.\par You took my land.\par You dance around like a young cow\par that got into the grain.\par Your laughter is like the happy sounds\par that horses make.\par


“Babylon, you are too proud.\par And I am against you.”\par Our Master, the Lord All-Powerful,\par says these things.\par “I am against you,\par and the time has come\par for you to be punished.\par


“Babylon will be like sheep, rams,\par and goats\par waiting to be killed.\par I will lead them to the slaughter.\par


“Listen to me, because I am groaning!\par I have no person to comfort me.\par All my enemies have heard of my trouble.\par They are happy.\par They are happy that you did this to me.\par You said there would be a time of punishment.\par You said you would punish my enemies.\par Now do what you said.\par Let my enemies be like I am now.\par
