The people had many troubles,\par but the Lord was not against them.\par The Lord loved the people\par and felt sorry for them.\par So the Lord saved them.\par He sent his special angel to save them.\par He picked them up and carried them,\par and \{he will take care of them\} forever.\par


Jehoiakim was the son of Josiah. In the fourth year Jehoiakim was king of Judah, {\cf2\super [363]} Jeremiah the prophet told these things to Baruch son of Neriah. Baruch wrote these things on a scroll. {\cf2\super [364]} This is what Jeremiah said to Baruch:


‘Baruch, you have said: It is very bad for me. The Lord has given me sorrow along with my pain. I am very tired. I am worn out because of my suffering. I can’t find rest.’


Now go and tell his followers. And \{be sure to\} tell Peter. Tell them, ‘Jesus is going into Galilee. He will be there before you. You will see him there like he told you before.’”


He comforts us every time we have trouble, so that we can comfort other people any time they have trouble. We can comfort them with the same comfort that God gives us.


But God comforts people who are troubled. And God comforted us when Titus came.


And now Jesus can help those people who are tempted. Jesus is able to help because he himself suffered and was tempted.
